Bob has followed high tech integration for three decades and served as a C-level consultant to hundreds of high tech companies

Bob Snyder is an editor and channel consultant following high tech companies in Europe and Middle East. He follows IT, audio/video, mobile communications, digital signage, metaverses, consumer electronics, IoT, and smart building industries. His themes encompass digital disruption, (the collision of cloud, mobility, Big Data, AI and the Internet of Things)— and the necessary changes in company culture as people, processes, data, and things become connected to transform business outcomes. A well-known speaker on European high tech industry trends, Bob has been a guest speaker for such international corporate leaders as Lucent, NEC, AMD, Panasonic Industrial, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, BenQ, Tech Data, Toshiba, Ingram Micro, Data Access and many others. Research organizations and trade associations that have invited Bob to speak at their events include BIS, Gartner, IDG, Everything Channel, RIA, EIA, SIA, Akcent Dealer Group, Dentsu, Ziff-Davis, AVIXA, and Jakajima. Speeches at industry events include keynotes for RetailVision, Channel Focus, ISE, CES, Hannover Fairs USA, Distree, IT ChannelVision, HKTDC, CeBIT and other organizations. He has been invited and accepted to keynote at national IT trade shows in Ukraine, Morocco, Norway, UAE, Romania and elsewhere. Bob has spoken on trade show training and performance for telecom companies including NEC, USTA, Agilent, Alcatel-Lucent, Motorola, Nokia, and others. His training programs and content on cross-cultural business skills have been used by AT &T, Bell Labs, Nynex, Accor Hotels and others. This includes a 12-city speaking tour in Europe for Sun Microsystems on doing business across borders. Additionally, Bob served for two years as Marketing Director at the original North American Telecommunications Association (now part of TIA). He was the publisher of the first pan-European publication on consumer electronics, the first magazine for computer dealers (USA), the world’s largest show daily at CeBIT in Hannover (and dailies at 26 other high tech shows), and the only pan-European magazine for PC builders.
